A: The web site migration service provided by Samanadje Hosting is entirely free and consists of transferring all your web files, databases and e–mails from your current web hosting provider to your brand new web hosting account with us. We’ll also revise all the configuration settings needed for your sites to be fully operational on our next–generation cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring any type of web site. With years of work experience behind their backs, they are experts in the inner workings of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other widely used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom app with plenty of custom libraries is as easy as transferring a plain WordPress blog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time window, because there are plenty of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to transfer your site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (if the website content is not large).

A: We will need the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the site’s name (domain name).

A: User privacy is one of our foremost responsibilities – this is why, both our payment transaction page and our CP login page are secured with enterprise–level Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative procedures to safeguard the details that we collect online. And we’ve also got a detailed and rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we collect.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. As soon as the transfer is complete, we’ll make certain that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised before telling you that the migration is finished. Then we’ll instruct you how to move the domain name over to your web hosting account with us and how to modify your DNS records.

A: While we transfer your content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: We can migrate your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered web hosting platform given that we can acquire access to the Control Panel and there is File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software applications such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
